Heathfield Web-Video Transcript

Video opens with four shots on each quarter of the screen of residents and staff, accompanied with the Heathfield 'H'. Light hearted music also plays in the background.

Slow zoom in of picture of Heathfield home, manager starts to talk and then shot of manager interview appears:

"I'm the manager of Heathfield residential home. I've worked here for 18 months and I find that all the staff are very caring and love their job, they are very dedicated to it."

Part way through interview, cuts accompany it to illustrate what the manager is saying, shots of the residents in their own element, staff working and interacting with residents, chef serving food onto a plate & residents eating food:

"The ladies here are all lovely ladies and they all come from different walks of life and have different stories to tell every day. We have homemade food here. The home is very homely and a lovely place to be..."

Cut back to shot of manager interview: "...Here at Heathfield residential home."

Cut to shots of chaplain singing to residents with text stating this and residents sing along.

Music from Chaplin playing guitar fades out staff interview then begins:

"I've been at Heathfield now for 5 years and I'd say working at Heathfield is like working inside your own home..."

Cuts begin of the staff working and assisting the residents.

"...because we treat everybody as part of the family and we work hand in hand to provide good quality care for our residents."

Shot of interview re-appears and ends.

Light hearted music fades in and is accompanied by cuts of the home, starting with a door to a room, pan shots and zoom out of rooms, shot of a resident having her hair done. 'Home Salon' text appears to re-iterate. Shots of the residents playing snakes and ladders, with text 'Activities and games', a shot of the residents laughing with staff outside in the sun and shots of the dining area.

Music fades and cuts to an interview/testimonial with a resident's family member.

"My mother in-law came into Heathfield in February this year after having looked at several other care homes but we chose this one because we liked the comfort and the friendliness of it"

Cut to a shot of lady helping her relative down a ramp, and cue sound for second interview/testimonial.

"My relative has been in here for over a year, we've got nothing but praise for them, they've done exceptionally well... they've looked after her health, they've taken care of her and since coming in, she's improved instead of going the other way, so as a family we are really, really happy with Heathfield and we don't feel as if we would have got anywhere better."

Interview fades out

Light hearted music becomes louder

Four shots on each quarter of the screen (of residents and staff, accompanied with the Heathfield 'H' appears.

Then the Heathfield address and contact details appear.

Music and image fade out.
