Heathfield is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission. This accreditation is hard to achieve – you won’t find many ‘Outstanding’ care homes as you do your research. ‘Outstanding’ can only be achieved with a world-class care team.
Heathfield has also been awarded the ‘Platinum’ accreditation from the Investors in People Standard (awarded to less than 1% of all IIP accredited companies). Again, you can take reassurance from this that our team continuously operate at an extremely high standard.

It is a maxim at Heathfield that the staff are there for the residents. Each staff member treats each resident according to her needs. No request is too much trouble, and the team will do anything they can to make a resident’s stay more comfortable.
Highly-Qualified Professionals
Marjorie Ada is our Registered Manager. Marjorie holds a nursing qualification and QCF level 5 manager’s qualification. Our senior team is also well established and, in some cases, medically qualified, which assists in our liaison with medical professionals, with whom we have excellent relations.
